This Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (EWPA) Yellow Card training course provides the skills and knowledge required to operate an elevating work platform under 11 metres. The scissor lift certification class is designed to ensure that successful participants are able to safely use various types of Mobile Elevated Work Platforms, including Boom Lifts under 11 metres.

The EWPA Yellow Card training course takes 1 day and upon successful completion of this course you will be issued with a nationally accredited statement of attainment. Your EWPA yellow card will be issued by the Elevated Work Platform Association (EWPA) and can only be obtained by completing a training course by a registered training organisation. Without a valid yellow card, you won’t be able to operate a scissor lift.

- As MultiSkills Training is not CRICOS approved we are unable to enrol any students that are on a student VISA, if you are on a student VISA you will need to go to a TAFE or RTO that is CRICOS approved.

- Theory Re-Assessment – $150

Do you need a license to operate a scissor lift in Victoria?
No, however, a scissor lift course will train you to safely operate an elevated work platform under 11 metres. A Boom lift course will train you to operate an elevated work platform under 11 meters. MultiSkills deliver both these one-day courses at our Geelong and Werribee locations.
Do you need to be certified to operate a scissor lift?
After successfully completing a scissor lift course or a boom lift course under 11 meters, you will receive a statement of attainment and a competency card enabling you to operate elevating work platform. Most employers require their workers to have completed a scissor lift course prior to using a scissor lift
