The Construction Induction Card (White Card) is a mandatory requirement for all workers on building and civil construction sites. In this White Card course, you will learn the basic principles of occupational health and safety requirements. Your White Card is issued by WorkSafe Victoria.
Without the construction induction card known as a White Card, you cannot seek employment in the construction industry in Victoria. It is a mandatory certification that allows you to work on construction sites throughout the state and indicates that you have completed the minimum training needed to safely work in the construction industry.

Recognised Prior Learning (RPL)
MultiSkills Training has reviewed the structure and delivery of this unit and determined that Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is not offered for this course.
Due to the short duration of the program, the time and effort required for a student to gather sufficient evidence and complete a formal RPL application is likely to exceed the time it would take to complete the training and assessment. In addition, the RTO resources required to assess and validate RPL applications for this course make the process not viable or efficient in this context.
This decision aligns with the guidance outlined in the Outcome Standards Policy Guidance (Standards for RTOs 2025), which recognises that RPL may not be appropriate or practical in all circumstances.
