FAQs About Traffic Management Courses
You must complete the RIIWHS205E – Control traffic with stop-slow bat and RIIWHS302E – Implement traffic management plans course. Applicants must also meet entry requirements like being 17 years or older and possessing a USI Number.
No prior experience is required. The training is designed for beginners to gain the foundational skills needed for traffic management.
The course typically takes 2 days to complete, including theoretical and practical training.
You will gain a Unit of Competency, showing you have the skills to work in traffic management for short-term roadwork and similar roles.

Completed the two day forklift course and I must say I’ve come a long way. I didn’t feel comfortable nor had the belief in myself that I’d successfully pass the course! Macca was a big help in that getting me over the line, taking his time in assessing me and answering any questions I had.
