What You’ll Learn

You’ll plan safe lifts from the ground up – setting stable work areas, choosing the right configuration and communicating cleanly with hand signals and radios. You’ll read load charts with confidence, turning radius, boom length and configuration into quick, accurate lifting decisions. Safety is embedded at every step: hazard ID, exclusion zones, permits and emergency actions. Then it’s all hands-on-pre-starts, setup, rigging coordination, precision picks, shutdowns – and you’ll finish assessment-ready, competent and confident on the controls.
