Gain the skills to open the door for an exciting career as a Rigger. Riggers assemble and install rigging gear such as cables, ropes, pulleys and winches to lift, lower, move or position structural steel, concrete panels and beams, machinery and other heavy objects.
Riggers mainly work outdoors on construction sites but can also work in the mining, entertainment, manufacturing and shipping industries.
MultiSkills Training has consulted a number of organisations in the varying fields of Rigging including construction, rail infrastructure, tunneling, demolition and entertainment. We have developed a program to equip you with the skills to give you the opportunity to apply for roles as a rigger. This course is designed for individuals to gain the skills and knowledge required to work safely and competently across a range of work tasks that are carried out regularly within the role as a rigger.
